Southridge Technology based in Ridgefield, Connecticut, one of northern Fairfield County’s most well-respected and successful computer sales, service and support companies, has opened a second office at 246 Federal Road, Unit B12 in Brookfield, Connecticut. Joseph M. Garzi of New Milford, president and founder of Southridge Technology, announced the move into a storefront building in the Brookfield Commons office center on Route 7. Garzi stated, “We are poised to expand our reach further into Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven Counties in Connecticut, plus Westchester and Putnam Counties in nearby New York State, just one hour north of New York City.”
Garzi founded Southridge Technology in 2000 with the establishment of offices in the Executive Pavilion at 90 Grove Street in Ridgefield, Connecticut. “This new, prominently positioned location on Route 7 in Brookfield fulfills a long-standing desire to be in offices that allow us to put up storefront signage,” stated Garzi. “Since the day we moved into this space, even without furniture and carpenters were remodeling the space, we obtained clients from people literally walking through the front door.” Hailed as one of northwestern Connecticut’s leading computer technology firms, Southridge Technology provides services that include computer sales, service, repair and support; network assessment and analysis; virus removal, backup and disaster recovery solutions; email and Web hosting to over 600 clients, supporting more than 5,000 desktops.

“We needed more space to better serve all our clients,” explained Garzi, “plus host ongoing seminars and workshops on important technology subjects and advancements. We now can do all of that, and more, in our new Brookfield location.” Garzi will oversee the Brookfield office while sustaining the company’s corporate office in Ridgefield. “The new Brookfield office is ideally located on the heavily-traveled Federal Road/Route 7 for expanding our reach further into the Litchfield and northeastern New Haven, Putnam and Westchester Counties.”
Garzi commented that, “We have many clients in the medical fields, and our primary service area is a 60 mile radius around Danbury. Currently, we have 10 technical staff members working full time, and we may look to increase that number with this move into this Brookfield office. Our services are offered on a 24/7 basis because we have the technical expertise and customer service skills to support small to medium size businesses, several of which are in operation nights and weekends.”
